A significant element of being personally prepared for an emergency is getting trained in emergency skills. There are a number of training opportunities available to you.

National and Oregon Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) are programs that provide services to people after disaster strikes through communication, coordination and outreach. For more information visit: www.nvoad.org or www.orvoad.org
